Danielle Gonzales is nonprofit and educational leader, currently serving as a senior fellow for the One Generation Fund. Most recently Danielle served as Executive Director of New Mexico First, an organization that builds consensus for policy change on issues facing the state of New Mexico. She has over 20 years of experience working in education policy and reform on a national level. Her previous roles include Managing Director at The Aspen Institute, Senior Program Officer at the Bill &Melinda Gates Foundation, and several positions at Pew Charitable Trusts. Danielle was elected by her community to serve on the Albuquerque Public Schools Board of Education, working to improve student outcomes for 70,000 students. Along with other boards and advisory commissions, Danielle is a member of Education Leaders of Color, Latinos for Education, and School Board Partners.
