Mark Miller is a mathematics teacher and chair of the mathematics department at Cheyenne Mountain Junior High School. He has more than 20 years of experience teaching mathematics at the junior-high level and currently instructs students in Algebra 1, Pre-Algebra, and Math Skills. As mathematics department chair, Mr. Miller works across the department to create common assessments and manages student math placement and teacher scheduling. Board-certified in Early Adolescence Mathematics, Mr. Miller served on a standard-setting panel of the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards and is a validation reviewer in his certificate area. His accolades include being nominated for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science.
