Brenda Larsen-Mitchell
Dr. Brenda Larsen-Mitchell is the Deputy Superintendent of the Clark County School District in Las Vegas, Nevada. She leads all teaching and learning functions of the District, including supervision of over 360 schools that serve approximately 294,000 students in Grades Pre-Kindergarten–12. In addition to her extensive experience as a teacher, principal, and district leader, Dr. Larsen-Mitchell subscribes to a servitude leadership philosophy. She believes that supporting others’ success is the best way to encourage organizational improvement and student achievement. Her work focuses on empowering students so they are successful when they leave our educational system.
